Dr.K K Kapur has a vast experience in Cardiology especially and Non-Invasive Cardiology ( over 25 years). He is the one of the leading non-invasive cardiologist in India and the senior cardiologist in Noida. He is widely considered one of the foremost experts in the field of echocardiography.

 

Qualification:-

* MBBS - Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi 1977.

* MD (MEDICINE) - PGI, Chandigarh (1981)

* DM (CARDIOLOGY) - PGI, Chandigarh (1985)

* FELLOWSHIP in Non-Invasive Cardiac Lab UAB Hospital, University of Alabama, Birmingham 1986-1988.

 

Work Experience:-

*  Sr. Registrar in Cardiology, PGI Chandigarh 1985-1986

*  Fellow in Noninvasive Cardiology at University of Alabama At Birminghan in 1986-1988.

*  Sr. Consultant and chief of Non Invasive Cardiology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital -1988-1995.

*  Sr. Consultant and Co-director of Non Invasive Cardiology-Indraprastha Apollo hospital -1995 till date. 

 

Clinic Practice In Noida

Dr Kapur established in Clinical Cardiology practice in Noida in Oct 1988, which he later expanded by introducing Color Doppler Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, Vascular Doppler, Fetal echocardiography, Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring, diagnostic testing. This clinic is prominently located and functions to late evening an even on weekend

This is only clinic in Noida performimg stress echocardiography, Treadmill exercise testing as well as Dobutaime stress echocardiography on routine basis.

--> Dobutamine Stress echo 1991.

--> Penile Doppler 1996.

--> Introduced non-invasive Haemodynamics in the ICU- 2002.

--> Adenosine Stress echo 2006.

--> Introduced non-invasive assessment of pulmonary vascular resistance in the evaluation of patients for

      liver transplant 2008.

--> Special expertise in 3-D echo, speckle imaging and contrast stress echo . Having conducted many live

      workshops in national and International conferences. Delivered several invited lectures in these topics.

 

Training Programme in Echocardiography was started by Dr. Kapur in year 2001, Both long term training programme (3months) and short term programme (1month), run throughout the year. This programme consists of didactic lectures and ‘hands on’ experience. Trained more than 400 doctor as per various aspects of Echocardiography.
